An air receiver tank, sometimes referred to as a compressed air tank, is an integral part of any compressed air system. The main purpose of air receiver

tank is to provide temporary storage for compressed air, which also helps your air compression system run more efficiently.

Air receiver tank is an essential component of a compressed air system. One properly sized air receiver tank ensures the safe and efficient operation of

system and provides a reservoir of extra power for use during periods of peak demand.

 

Except storing compressed air that can be used for short and high-demand events, air receiver tank can provide a steady air signal to air compressor

controls. In addition, when it is used as a "wet tank," it acts as a secondary heat exchanger, increasing the efficiency of your air dryer.
